so this is my 3rd day in a row for an actual blog and not a survey or pictures or anything random lol. but today was a pretty busy day so i decided to write another. first off i got up way too early for work so i sat around for awhile till i had to leave and drove the awful 45 minute commute to my lovely job that i really do love (: it was a pretty good day considering i've been off since thurs.
after work i headed straight to tc's so we could "walk"...haha it took us Forever to actually make it to that stage. we sat in her house for probably a good 30 mins and then we went outside to walk in her neighborhood and tc was too chicken to walk by any houses with dogs so after about ten minutes we gave up and headed back lol.
we ended up going to her school's track field and walking there instead. we found a track hurdle pushed against a building so i dragged it out to the football field so if i tripped i wouldnt bust my face on the cement lol. well after several several bailed out attempts to jump over it, i did make an effort to clear it....and caught my foot, fell, and rolled a little bit haha. it didn't hurt me (PTL we had moved it out on the grass) but it was pretty hilarious. tc had been videoing me but of Course she missed that. finally we kinda got the hang of it and did a few more before we got back to walking.
so i dont know how many of you have tried it, but running up and down the bleacher stairs is so stinking tiring. by the time we had walked over two miles, jumped our hurdles, and run up and down the stairs who knows how many times, i was beyond ready to pass out. when we got back to the car i probably could have just fell asleep. i did manage to make it home okay (: i feel so much better about myself after walking and i really hope i keep up at it. i don't wanna be a huge blob in dee's wedding!
overall it's been a pretty awesome day for a monday (: but still, can't wait for the weekend. i already know it's gonna be great. i'm sure i'll be back with a long post about all the crazy stuff we did (: lots of love

easter weekend :)

so this weekend has actually been really fun :) yesterday after i got home from the smokies i took a nap and then headed to trenton for church. afterwards i met up with april and blake at lalito's and we sat and talked foreverrrr. we finally went outside since they were closing and talked about an hour outside after that. it's really nice to know i still have some people who are Always there for me (: i love them a whole whole bunch!
today i went to trenton (and arrived about 5 mins late) it was a pretty short service and mostly just dad preaching. we got out before church normally even starts i believe lol. after that we headed to my grandmothers to eat lunch and i pretty much ate my entire body weight in all kinds of yummy food. it was pretty delicious (: i ended up falling asleep in the floor and because my family is super annoying, i got tickled with easter grass more than once, and got water poured in my ear, and i believe ice on my back. i kept going back to sleep anyway (: lol
tonight i went back to trenton and afterwards i called april and blake to see what the plan was. they told me lalito's was closed and blake was like come over here and get in our car. he wouldnt tell me why so i headed that way and as soon as i got in their car blake took off. he was like we're going to tiftonia!! haha they tricked me because they knew i wouldn't go because i feel like driving to tiftonia for food is a waste of gas when trenton has so many places to eat. we ended up going to the china buffet place with james (where once again i ate about my entire body weight in yummy goodness....minus the peice of sushi i ate half of and wanted to throw it up) and afterwards walked around walmart. finally we headed back to lalito's to get my car and blake tried to teach me how to spin a basketball on my finger out in the parking lot (i failed lol) insert some more good old blake-april-brett talk time and it was a pretty great sunday night. i definitely laughed till i cried and some points, and had an awesome sing-the-frosted-flakes-theme-song moment with zane.
all in all i had a pretty great weekend. can't wait till this weekend. girl's night friday and hopefully cbf sat!! lots of love to everybody (:

So i'm finally writing a real blog again lol. Since we just went to the smokies i figured i should at least blog about what an awesome time we had. I really can’t believe how fun it was, but we had a blast! (I did anyway :) lol) thurs I had to work and it was seriously the Longest day ever even tho we got off at 1. When I finally got to leave I headed home and decided to take a nap before Hilary got here. She got here around 3 and we loaded up the cooler and headed to April’s house and pick her up. Once we got on the road there was a lot of singing, yelling, making random ew noises, and trying to sound like a pterodactyl haha. When we finally got to the smokies we met up with mom and dad and headed straight to eat before we even went in our room because we were starving! We had some amazing arby’s (probably mine and hil’s favorite) and headed back to the room to watch some idol (yes I couldn’t even miss idol for the smokies lol) after we got in our room and watched idol we decided we should at least go to a few shops in pigeon forge and not waste our whole night in the room, so I was gonna go knock on mom’s door to give her our extra key. Wellll I thought her room was directly beside us on the left and it turns out it was on the Right. And earlier she had come and knocked on our door a ton to bug us, so I go to this random person’s door that I think is my parents room and start beating on it. Yea. True story. I hear a lady inside yell what! And I’m like ummmm that’s not my mom. So we panic and take off to the stairs and just act like nothing happened. When we were walking to the car the people definitely came outside and was yelling. I still don’t think they knew for sure it was us, but April and Hilary were definitely scared lol. It was absolutely hilarious and I hope I never ever do that again lol. After a little shopping we headed back to our room for some more girl talk and finally some sleep. The next day we did a little more shopping at tanger, went to eat, and then headed back to the room to get ready to go to Gatlinburg that evening.  We walked the strip for a little while and decided to head back to pigeon forge to eat, shop some more, and take a few pics. We were trying to find a good place to take some pictures and we found this willow tree that we thought we could take some by. Well. I Really wanted to climb this tree. But climbing a tree in dressy clothes and yellow box flip flops is Not easy. So I decided to back my car up under the tree and try to jump off the back of my car into the tree. Yeaaa…that was an epic fail. Sadly I have no pictures in the tree now :( but Hilary sure has a ton of me looking really stupid trying to climb in it haha. We had to head back pretty early this morning but I’m definitely glad we got to go. I really needed it and I can’t wait to go again :) lots of love

so since i haven't made a real post since last wed i figured i'd do a little update on my week. sat was april's party and it was Awesome! i had a ton of phone and have been wondering why we don't go to four fields more often and have water fights because it's soo close. i managed not to get too too wet until me and layton dumped a tub of water on april and somehow half of it ended up on me....karma i guess but it was so hot i wasn't gonna complain (: basically other than that the day consisted of me being lazy and doing the cat daddy with bail...also trying to climb a fence and experiencing a very epic fail lol. i love you for trying with me anyway bail (:
sunday i went to higdon and hung out with tc and derrick mostly then came home for a nap before trenton that night. i just came home afterwards and went to bed early so i could get up early and walk monday before work. i've decided to try to get back in shape and lose a little weight so today was day 3 of walking again. hopefully by dee's wedding i won't be such a pudge lol. me and april really want to start meeting up and walking once a week if anyone would like to join us (:
monday was just a normal awful monday at work bc it's like a must that mondays be terrible....i was sooo ready to leave to go get ready for dee's shower....and of course the day just couldn't go any slower. Finally i get off work and run a few errands then head to granny j's to set up and get everything ready. when i show up she is pouring liquid fire down her sink bc it's stopped up....well before you know it, it's ate thru part of the pipes where they connect and its running out Everywhere. so me and sis joyce are both dying laughing and trying to get everything cleaned up so we can actually do something productive. we finally get it cleaned up and bro tony showed up and fixed the sink for us (: pretty soon tc showed up and we put together the chicken salad sandwiches (while sneaking bites every few mins...we acted like we hadn't ate in ab three weeks lol) arranged everything, and basically waited for everyone to show up. it ended up being a Blast. i'm very very thankful for everyone who came or helped in any way and made it special for dee. i really dont think it could have went any better!
yesterday i went and worked then came home and walked my two miles, took a nap (those are pretty daily for me lol) and rushed to get ready for church. i got there ab 3 mins till start time but as long as i make it in before they start to sing i feel pretty good lol. we had a couple visitors and church ended up being Really good. i'm so so thankful for my little church. i can't hardly imagine being anywhere else...i love it so much!
today was actually a pretty good day. we grilled out at work and ate our lunches out on the patio just sitting out in the sun....it felt so great....i can't wait for it to be for real summer. tonight i have totally been a lazy bum (minus walking my two miles again) i, of course, just finished idol and it was amazing as always. scotty never fails to make me melt when he sings and tonight was just....ahh...amazing<3 i wish idol happened everyday! haha
also i have two things i wanna mention. first thing is friday we are having a singing at 7:30 est (fast) time....steadfast and the young family are singing....and mom thinks we have another group but for the life of me i cant remember who it is....so come and be surprised! haha
second thing is....i am so stinking pumped for next weekend!!! mom dad me april hilary and britney are going to the smokies....to do what has not been decided yet....but i'm sure i will come back with a ton of pics and one extremely long blog (:
